August 2026 Bible Reading Plan

As we step into August, I want to invite you to draw near to Jesus as our Healer.
Throughout Scripture, we see the heart of God revealed through restoration. Jesus touched the sick, opened blind eyes, strengthened broken bodies, restored wounded hearts, delivered those who were oppressed, and brought hope into situations that looked impossible.
Healing is not simply about what God can do for us. It reveals who He is. He is compassionate. He is present. He is powerful. And He cares deeply about every part of our lives.
Maybe you are believing God for healing in your body. Maybe the place that hurts cannot be seen by anyone else. Maybe you are carrying disappointment, grief, fear, exhaustion, or wounds from your past. Wherever you are today, I want to encourage you to bring that place honestly before the Lord.
As we read together this month, do not simply study stories of healing. Put yourself in these passages. Listen to what Jesus is saying. Watch how He responds to hurting people. Ask the Holy Spirit to renew your faith and reveal the healing heart of God to you.
My prayer is that this month you will encounter Jesus in a fresh way and become more convinced than ever that He is near to the broken, faithful in every season, and still able to restore.

CLOSING ENCOURAGEMENT
As we come to the end of August, I want you to remember this: Jesus never treated hurting people as interruptions.
He saw them.
He stopped for them.
He listened to them.
He touched them.
And He brought the reality of God’s Kingdom into the middle of their pain.
Maybe you experienced a breakthrough this month. Thank God for it. Testify about what He has done and let your faith encourage someone else.
Maybe you are still waiting for the answer you have been praying for. Do not confuse waiting with abandonment. God has not forgotten you.
Keep coming to Jesus.
Keep praying.
Keep standing on His Word.
Keep allowing the Holy Spirit to heal the places in your heart that no one else can see.
And keep trusting God even when the journey looks different than you expected.
Healing is bigger than a moment. God wants to make us whole—spirit, soul, and body—and He wants our lives to become places where His compassion can flow to others.
So do not allow pain to have the final word.
Do not allow disappointment to define what you believe about God.
And do not allow yesterday’s battle to convince you that tomorrow cannot look different.
Jesus is still faithful.
Jesus is still compassionate.
Jesus is still powerful.
And He is still our hope.
May you walk forward with renewed faith, renewed strength, and a deeper revelation of the healing heart of God.
